New single “Free Space?” Is out today!
Dear friends, we're excited to share the first single of our next album "Messages From Walls“ with you. Like the entire upcoming album, the song is based on photos of street poetry, street art, and sociopolitical messages collected by us on tour in various European cities. We found the message “Free Space?” in Venice’s alleyways and spontaneously converted it into a song in our mobile jam&recording studio. Many European cities and their societies are under pressure, and people express themselves in public spaces. So we collected thoughts, protests, poems, messages - written on walls, bearing the potential to bring them down - and wrote music inspired by them. We're very happy to team up with a wonderful label from Munich, Compost Records for this release. We feel like we have been welcomed into a big family.
💕 Much love! Joy & Melodydreamer / OY

Nkrabea Destiny - Accra Rooftop Jam
We finally brought this song back home to Ghana. Written for a documentary film about a young Ghanaian football player, Nkrabea-Destiny combines personal roots with Amapiano sounds, Afrobeats and Highlife chords. Joy is singing in Twi, Ghana’s most widely spoken language and the native tongue of her father, the lyrics echo a soulful call to fate: “You call me, I follow you, my destiny”

Behind The Song
Just started our "Behind the Song" series! We give background information to our tracks, answers to questions like what inspired the lyrics? how did the songwriting process come about? etc.. This happens on Fanklub, a platform similar to Patreon or Substack, but specifically music-related. You can subscribe for free. But it's also a tool to help us become more self-sufficient as a band, therefore we appreciate a subscription with a small donation starting from EUR 1.99/month. We've seen that this truly makes a difference for us when covering expenses related to album production. On the other hand, our (always and forever free) monthly newsletter is more about staying updated about tours and releases. Subscribing to both gives you the full picture of what's moving us on our artistic path.
