Black Lives Matter!
And the second single "One On The Row - BLM" - of our upcoming album is out today: Hands up in solidarity, sing along! Tomorrow will mark the 2nd death anniversary of George Floyd. Back in 2020, the words "I cant breathe" and the slogan "Black Lives Matter" spread around the world like a wildfire. While there had been many similar cases of brutal injustice before and after, this one, caught on camera, shook up the world - enough is enough. In our song, the metaphor of "sitting in the fire" speaks of how Black people are literally in the line of fire, but it also stands for the fuel of resistance. The music explodes with a desire to live, to blossom, to even dance and blaze up the fire of liberation and collective healing.”
